Licensing

InSite software is licensed using a USB or digital key system. The licence can be installed on one computer and used by two people; or the licence can be installed on two computers and used by one person (i.e. an office computer and field laptop). An End-User Licence Agreement (EULA) needs to be accepted by the designated users before the software can be activated. For the educational discount to be applied, the Educational Licence Agreement must also be signed by the designated user(s).

Additional licences purchased at the same time are eligible for a discount.

Support Plans

We offer an annual software licence maintenance and technical support scheme which provides access to both technical support and software updates.

An active annual subscription provides exclusive access to the latest ASC software releases, to software updates and to professional support from the ASC support team.

We provide two support subscription plans:  Standard and Advanced. Both plans include software maintenance and technical support.   

Notes:

1. Software support – technical support with ASC’s InSite software, including support with installation, remote setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
2. Hardware support – technical support with ASC’s acoustic emission (AE) and ultrasonic data acquisition equipment and associated data acquisition software and drivers, including support with installation, remote setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
3. Technical Support Tickets – technical support is provided based on a ticketing system, with a number of support tickets allocated per licence. The number of support tickets is dependent on the support subscription plan.
4. Response Time – the business day refers to our office business hours between 09:00 to 17:00 (UK local time), Monday to Friday excluding holidays. 
5. Consultancy Time – can be used to provide consultancy, advance support, assistance with a project setup, data processing or remote training. Additional consultancy hours can be purchased at a reduced rate. Pricing available on request.
6. Multi-licence discount - A discount (per licence) is applied for the renewal of the support subscription for the second and subsequent licences held by the client. A 15 % discount is applied for the support renewal for the second, third and fourth licence and a 25% discount is applied for the fifth and all additional licences held by the client.
7. New InSite software licence discount - A discount of 15% will be applied on the purchase of a new InSite software licence for clients with a valid advanced support plan.
